We grow a vast range of spices and tropical plants as you can see a glimpse on the slideshow. We practice a sustainable agriculture without any chemical thanks to organic fertilization as mulching and composting and to the great biodiversity of the farm. You will discover various species : Spices-producing plants, tropical fruits and vegetables and specific plants of interest used in cosmetics and local medicine, such as the lipstick tree or the henna plant.

Our spices and coffee are grown naturally and we are currently involved in the organic conversion of the farm to get our products certified as organic under European laws.

Agronomist, he has a great experience in spice cultivation that allow him to work as teacher in Kizimbani Agricultual Training Institute in the Crop Science department where he established a medicinal plants unit for training and research purpose. Mostly dedicated to his teaching job, he's also working on developing his spice farm, intending to make it a real heritage center by collecting and preserving indigenous and endangered species of Zanzibar.
